When visitors leave comments, we collect data from the comments form along with their IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam. An anonymized string from your email may be shared with the Gravatar service to check if you use it. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture becomes visible alongside it.

Avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as visitors can extract such data.

If you leave a comment, you may opt to save your details in cookies for convenience. Login cookies last two days; display settings last one year. Temporary cookies are used for login verification and do not contain personal data.

Articles may include content from other websites, which may track your interaction similarly to visiting their site directly.

Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely. Registered users can edit or delete their profile information anytime.
